30 years of Brake Since 1995, Brake has been working to stop the tragedy of deaths and serious injuries in road crashes, make streets safe and healthy places for all, and care for road victims when they need it most. We want to thank you for helping us on this journey. Without your support, we couldn’t have grown into the charity we are today.

The difference Brake makes Today, we are working with more than 800 families like Lisa’s through our National Road Victim Service, delivering both practical and emotional support to families in their darkest and most difficult times. Sadly, we know there are many more who need our help. Last week, we provided 500 packs of teaching resources to schools and youth groups to enable them to take part in Brake's Kids Walk and shout out for their rights to safe streets. This week, we are delivering a conference to police family liaison officers and other post-crash professionals, helping them learn more about why road victim families like Lisa’s need specialist support. Next month, we are back in parliament, campaigning for better support for road victims and measures that are proven to reduce road deaths and injuries.   This is just some of the work we’re doing and there’s lots more we want to achieve.
