BEEP! BEEP! DAYS TEACH ROAD SAFETY TO YOUNG CHILDREN IN THE UK

BEEP! BEEP! DAYS TEACH ROAD SAFETY TO YOUNG CHILDREN IN THE UK

Every year in the UK, thousands of young children between the ages of two and seven years old participate in Beep! Beep! Day, a special day designated to teaching the basics of road safety early in a child’s life. On Beep! Beep! Day, nurseries, preschools, daycares, and other child groups organize fun activities that teach basic road safety skills, while also raising awareness among parents and the community about how to protect children on the roads.
This year, official Beep! Beep! Days will take place on 9 March, 13 July, and 23 November across the UK, but your organization can organize a Beep! Beep! Day in your own community on any day of the year. Beep! Beep! Day was established by Alliance member Brake, and they offer free online resources and other materials to help you organize a Beep! Beep! Day in your community. For more information, or to register for a Beep! Beep! Day event, visit Brake’s website HERE
