Transport Research Arena, Vienna, 2018

The Transport Research Arena 2018 (TRA 2018) will take place in Vienna, Austria from 16 to 19 April 2018. TRA is the major European Conference on Transport Research, initiated in 2006 and takes place every two years in another European city. It is supported by the European Commission (EC), the Conference of European Road Directors (CEDR) and the four European Technology Platforms on surface transport: the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC), the European Rail Research Advisory Council (ERRAC), WATERBORNE TP, the Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration (ALICE) and the Advisory Council for Aviation Research and Innovation in Europe (ACARE). This open Arena is the common platform for the surface transport stakeholders, the place where all the relevant organizations meet, discuss and develop cooperation. Under the motto ‘A digital era for transport‘ the TRA 2018 will explore the new promising opportunities that digitalization offers for transport. Additionally to the conference and the exhibitions, the TRA 2018 will focus on live demonstrations, to give an insight into current research results and mobility solutions.    The deadline for abstract submission is set to 21 March 2017.
