This year's TISPOL Conference takes place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Manchester Airport, on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 October. Grab your delegate place as soon as possible. Our accommodation options are now extremely limited, so don't risk missing out on what promises to be an excellent two-day event.
As ever, we have designed this year’s programme to be as practical and useful as possible, by showcasing examples of good practice and how they have successfully been adapted to work elsewhere. Our line-up of speakers and the TISPOL representatives from across Europe are committed to sharing their success stories and ensuring the Conference outputs are substantial.
Take a look at the Conference programme and make your booking!

The Project EDWARD social media programme starts on Friday 1 September. Please view and download the resource in the language of your choice, so you can add your support to the high profile we need #ProjectEDWARD to build as we approach the day itself: Thursday 21 September.
Choose from 26 different language versions of the Project EDWARD introductory video
Thanks to the recent addition of Catalan, there are now 27 different language versions of the short Project EDWARD introductory video. We need you to use this video as much as possible so that as many people as possible see it and engage with us for Project EDWARD.
All the language versions are below. From these links you can watch, download and share the video. You will also be able to see how many times each video has been played. Some versions have already been played several hundred times, others have not been played at all.
Please watch, download and share across your network! Tell as many organisations, stakeholders, agencies and individuals as you can. Let’s make sure everyone is aware of Project EDWARD, and this video - produced with your kind assistance - is the perfect way to explain what we are trying to achieve.
Thanks for your assistance.

Two experts warn that doctors in Finland should be paying closer attention to the mental health of their patients who have driver's licenses. They say drivers' psychological well-being is equally as important as their physical health in keeping roads safe.

Portugal seems to be heading for one of its worst years in terms of road fatalities. Latest figures out for the first seven months of the year show that deaths on Portuguese roads have climbed by around 20 percent on 2016.
A hard-hitting virtual experience of what it is like to be involved in a fatal car crash will be introduced to Barnsley later this year.

South Yorkshire Fire Service has funded ten virtual headsets which will be coupled with dramatic videos to help alert young drivers to common dangers.
