2017 Winner spotlight -
Stephensons Solicitors LLP

Road Safety in the Community Award
Sponsored by Johnson & Johnson in 2018
For the organisation that has worked hardest with its local community to improve road safety for all road users.

This organisation will have road safety at the heart of its corporate social responsibility ethos.
In 2017, this award was won by Stephensons Solicitors LLP. Here is what Kate Sweeney, partner and head of the injury department had to say:
“As a Firm, Stephensons were delighted to win the Road Safety in the Community Award at the Fleet Safety Awards in 2017, particularly as we were up against such strong competition! To receive a nationally recognised award such as this is a true indicator of the year-on-year commitment Stephensons has made to supporting Brake and the amazing work they do in making our streets and communities safer for everyone, and that includes locations around our offices and further afield.

Seeing the impact of road traffic injuries – on the victims and their families – first hand, means that road safety is a cause close to our personal injury solicitors. It is part of our wider ethos that our duty of care extends far beyond the litigation period. Our solicitors often provide a valuable guiding hand in allowing the client to move on from their injury and – where necessary – adjust to life with the long term effects.”
The 2018 Fleet Safety Awards will be held on Thursday 11 October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Entries are open, and places can be booked here.
