** Permissions on call notes updated and should now be accessible. **
Dear Friends,
Thank you to everyone who participated in our COVID-19 calls last week. Find notes from the calls HERE.
We are using the output to design initiatives to empower members during
the pandemic and to prepare a campaign to reignite our road safety
advocacy when attention on the pandemic fades. These will include:
- On the request of members, we will release an Alliance statement based on what members said on the calls. A draft can be found HERE.
Comments will be incorporated today and the finalized statement will be
released tomorrow: Wednesday 8 April. We hope that it will be a useful
tool for you with stakeholders.
- We have created a COVID-19 resources page on the website HERE. If you have resources to add, please email liz@roadsafetyngos.org.
- We will host a series of expert panel discussions on
connected issues emerging from the pandemic, such as climate change and
urban planning. More information next week.
- "Coffee break with the Alliance": an opportunity to
connect informally with other members and share experiences. More
details to follow.
- A global campaign to reignite attention on road safety and the Stockholm Declaration.
All initiatives will be listed on our website HERE. We want to congratulate you all for your perseverance as we all navigating new ways of working. Stay safe.
Yours sincerely,
Lotte Brondum
