#COMMITTOACT STREETS FOR LIFE WEEK OF ACTION
Last week, NGOs and road safety
advocates raised their voices together for the #CommitToAct Streets for
Life Week of Action, calling for evidence-based action, starting with 30
km/h; investment in road safety, and involvement of civil society in
decision-making. The primary focus was to push for specific, measurable
commitments for 30 km/h limits and other evidence-based activities. Read

In-country events were backed up by a global social media campaign. 1,000 social media users posting with the #CommitToAct and #StreetsForLife hashtags reached seven million people. The Alliance used the opportunity of the ITF Annual Summit to represent NGOs' calls to action at a global platform, while in Latin America, the Alliance and members took part in a dialogue with the Latin American Parliamentary Network for Road Safety.
