Dear EFTHITA,
Thanks to your help, #SaveKidsLives has been attracting global attention – and we’re about to go further than we ever imagined possible.
This week the campaign is launching an incredibly powerful film by the acclaimed Hollywood director Luc Besson. It is dedicated to #SaveKidsLives and it is a wake-up call for action to protect children on the roads worldwide.
With this film, the campaign has an amazing opportunity to grab attention. So we’re asking you to share it with everyone you know and join our call to #SaveKidsLives. And when you share it, get people to sign the Child Declaration for Road Safety. So far more than 850,000 people have signed the Declaration. Help us reach a million signatures for when the Governments of the world meet at the Global High Level Conference on Road Safety in Brasilia, 17-19 November. Kids everywhere must be protected on the roads. Our leaders must commit to action. We call for road safety for all!
The film is being launched to coincide with International Walk to School Day which has road safety for children as one of its aims. A massive thanks to our UN Road Safety Collaboration partners the FIA and FIA Foundation for making this film possible.

How you can support further:
- Gather signatures for the Child Declaration and help us reach our target of 1 million signatures by November 2015.
- Deliver the Child Declaration for Road Safety to your decision makers and urge them to put road safety in place for kids and for all at the Brasilia conference.
EFTHITA, it is down to you and your support that the campaign has achieved unprecedented achievement but we cannot stop here! We still need all campaigners to continue to build on the momentum by holding Save Kids Lives events ahead of Brasilia, taking #Safies and handing over the Declaration to decision makers in a call for action.
