NEWS

Improve pupils first journeys

New research shows the number of primary school children who walk or cycle to school has fallen.[1] In response, growing numbers of schools are taking measures to clamp down and even ban the school run, amidst growing evidence about the impact of air pollution on young people's health.

New resources from Think! include films and interactive resources to help young people and grown ups making their first journeys to school this term, preparing for the move to secondary school or embarking on their first solo journeys. Resources aimed at older students also cover skills they’ll need to become responsible drivers.

Check out the resources for age 3-16 on the THINK! education website.

Vision Zero Live

Brake and Continental are working towards a world with zero crashes, zero Injuries and zero fatalities.

Continental’s Vision Zero Live free event will put young people right in the driving seat. They’ll take part in a series of compelling driving modules that focus on driver experience, awareness and tyre safety.

Saturday 22nd September - Donnington Park Track
Saturday 29th September - Dunsfold Track

If you work with or employ young drivers find out more!
