Motorcyclists deserve a full role in road safety policies.
FEMA
wants motorcycles and other powered two-wheelers to be included in
Europe’s road safety plans. The European Commission's plans focus on
cars only and do not sufficiently take motorcyclists into account. FEMA
can and will not support an approach that is not safe for all road
users, including motorcyclists.

Greek parliament has voted in favour of a new law on sustainable urban
mobility, which includes making it easier for car drivers to start
riding light motorcycles.

According
to a survey conducted by the Spanish motorcyclists’ organization
Asociación Mutua Motera (AMM), 65.5% of the motorcyclists surveyed do
not agree with the mandatory use of airbags.
